Landmark constructed a 78-unit apartment house over two floors of institutional space and one level of underground parking. The Project’s Value was 24 million dollars. The project was awarded in December 2022 and is to be delivered in July 2024.
The site work phase of the project included support of excavation with rakers and piles. The building has 4 stories of transfer slab with the remainder of light gauge metal framing with a pan deck. The exterior of the building is fully clad with ACM panels, which requires very precise adherence to design dimensions. Landmark Utilized a tower crane to construct the building. Landmark will provide commissioning services as well as engineering services after the building is complete.
Landmark, as part of the overall contract, conducted work in an occupied institutional space at the adjacent First Baptist Church. Landmark also integrated the new building with the existing occupied institutional space, which included incorporating the old mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems into the new systems.
